The Box did the festival circuit in the Southwest, where it was filmed, and deals with one of the central issues that many couples face when they choose to cohabitate: where is the line between your private life and the life you lead with your mate?
Desperate Neighbors was a project I did for the University of Arizona aimed at improving relationships between students and citizens in college towns. The film was sold to over 60 universities throughout the country.
My performance in Ride The Box is said to have channeled Vince Vaughn. I play a role that I foresee will be my forte later in life: the “Lovable Sexual Predator.”
In Lost Connection I played the “jilted lover.” The film explores the pitfalls when young love moves too quickly.
Clouds of the Mind was a really intriguing piece that followed the meanderings of a college party and how each person effects another in ways both obvious and unknown.
Clowning Around was a really exciting project because of the popularity in motion capture technology. I performed as the live-action model for a couple of the animated characters.
“The Guys I Hang Out With” is an original webseries conceived and created by its cast. With a completely unique viewing experience, this series is on the vanguard of online entertainment.
Working on the "Gilmore Girls" was one of my first jobs in L.A. I worked closely with the "Gilmore" team throughout their seventh, and last, season. As I worked with them, they began to give me more and more responsibility. During one episode, I filled in as the busboy at Luke's and was given some fairly complex marks that wove between two of the regulars. Only after they were editing the scene was it discovered that I was significantly taller than Scott Patterson (Luke), so the ADs moved me to work with the taller cast. Lucky for me, "Gilmore" was a tall show, and I began standing in for a couple of the actors, Edward Hermann (Richard Gilmore) and Ted Rooney (Morey).
One of my two favorite actors is Jimmy Stewart, so it was a great pleasure to play one of the great Everyman roles that he immortalized. It was also great praise when one reviewer wrote that I was able to keep my performance my own instead of imitating Stewart.
It was an honor to be able to work with one of the current legends of stage, Jon Jory, in this production. The words and story were already wonderful, and Mr. Jory’s direction made everything jump to life.
A short for the DGA, the film was done all in foreign languages: French, German, Italian. I was able to perform in German as the chilling Nazi officer who interrogates the Jewish family making their way to freedom.
