An accomplished cook, Ian has perfected the art of removing items from the oven too early and only realizing the mistake after the dish has been perfectly plated, presented to the table, and the oven cooled off.
Bemused by the fact that strangers will speak foreign languages to this pasty-Irish boy from the Midwest and seem angry that he doesn’t respond in kind, Ian has begun the practice of responding to them in German and thus far has been quite satisfied by the reaction.
Ian has a strong affinity for the elderly, so much so that he’s prematurely aged to well in his 80s. Dumbfounded by rap music and people who can stay awake past 10pm, he plans on ending his current lease and moving into an active-living community for the elderly. So far his calls have not been returned.
Attributing it to his magnetism, Ian has the uncanny ability to have total strangers give him sage pearls of wisdom. He thanks those who have already contributed and pledges to live to the once given advice: "always feed your woman cherries."
Ian is also proud to have the largest discography of early 90s German Pop music out of everyone he knows and urges anyone who has not had the pleasure of listening to Die Prinzen (Germany’s answer to Rockapella) that they have yet to experience bliss.
“If a tree falls in the wood and no one is around to hear it, it must not have been that important of a tree.”
